2. Vision Pathways Clarkston: 10/40 Window Missionary Training

WHAT:  Vision Pathways Clarkston aims to mobilize, train, and multiply disciples and churches to meet physical and spiritual needs among the unreached people groups of the world. Upon raising financial support, future 10/40 window missionaries will receive focused training that will help to develop a missional philosophy, leadership skills, ministry coaching, on-the-job training, and hands on experience in the international Clarkston community.  This track should be seen as a preparation phase prior to launching onto the field and its focus is on preparing those who feel called into foreign missions and unreached people groups.

3. South City Church: Avenew

WHAT: South City Church is an Acts 29 church plant. Although still very young, the church knows that to reach a city, it needs laborers and is wanting trained, kingdom laborers to come and be a part of something new and restorative in the South Nashville area.  Through Avenew (SCC's transitional pathway) seeks to provide an avenue for graduates to get plugged into the life and mission of the church, all the while being transformed more and more into a new person by the power of Christ.   One of the big draws here is obviously the arts and the musical scene. While this makes for a talented, creative and beautiful culture, one destructive force or hindrance to the gospel going forward is the religiosity of the city. It is considered to be one of the most religious cities in the country. This outward form of religion has squelched the power of the gospel out of most churches and most peoples' lives. This religiosity gets in the way of people experiencing the power and freedom of Christ in the gospel. South City's motto is "Unfinished people resting in the finished work of Christ."  By spreading the gospel of Christ's finished work, the natural result, we pray, is revival!

MISSIONAL FOCUS: The missional aim is to take responsibility for the spread of the gospel in the Melrose & Wedgewood-Houston neighborhoods of South Nashville. This is being done through forming strategic partnerships with ministries in the neighborhood and with non-christian organizations serving the community. Also, there is an emphasis on reaching out to the musical community there and the de-churched (those who've given up on church, but not on God) in the area.
