VISION PATHWAYS AUGUSTA: Integrating Faith and Work

The transition from college to the “real” world can be one of the most difficult transitions a person will face. Vision Pathways was created to help college graduates connect more relationally to like-minded laborers, grow deeper roots in Christ, and serve strategic needs in downtown Augusta. The goal of Vision Pathways is to prepare people in their twenties to emerge as vocational kingdom leaders, church leaders and full-time Christian workers around the world.

WHAT: Vision Pathways is an 11-month (August-June) transitional experience in which recent graduates live in community in both the Olde Town and Harrisburg neighborhoods of Augusta. The participants work full-time jobs during the day, and participate in ministry events and training times in the evening. The training times are focused on building a biblical worldview in the areas of family, vocation, stewardship, calling, church membership and missional living. Participants also meet on Tuesday nights for community group discipleship. Other regular ministry events include a Bible study for kids from the Olde Town neighborhood on Thursday nights, building relationships with Internationals in the Harrisburg neighborhood, and a Young Adult Sunday School class on Sundays at 10 a.m.

MISSIONAL FOCUS: Integrating your faith with your everyday life. Our aim is to mentor you as you learn to do ministry in where you live, work, or play!
